Sa’auei’a Family Units

Sa’auei’a family units are squad-sized mobile groups. They combine kinship, defense, childcare, craft, trade, ritual practice, ecological negotiation, and memory keeping.

Scale

The unit should be small enough for personal trust and large enough for specialized roles. Wolf-pack comparison is useful for movement, hunting, and kinship pressure, but the units also function as schools, embassies, workshops, caravans, and oath groups.

Social Logic

Families earn status by maintaining good remembered relations across many ecological partners. A family that hoards, wounds, or breaks route obligations may still physically travel, but the continent stops opening itself to them.
