Design Notes

The two continents should support different ways of living. On the Airawa home continent, societies depend on memory stored through mother-tree networks. Those same connections allow imperial control to spread by altering memory and doctrine.

On the Sa’ueia continent, civilization moves. Ecological partners remember generosity, and that history shapes what travelers can rely on when they return. Sacred breeding grounds are shared places for reproduction within this mobile society. Turning them into permanent capitals would break the social arrangement they sustain.
