Continental Contact War

The Continental Contact War is the broad conflict between the Airawa Empire and the Sa’auei’a Nomadic Civilization after imperial discovery.

Strategic Mismatch

The empire expects to capture command centers, overwrite populations, and control ecological substrate. The Sa’auei’a have no single capital, no continental mother-tree network, and no public mind that can be seized at one root.

The Sa’auei’a expect conflicts to be negotiated through remembered relationships. The empire brings a machine built to make negotiation unnecessary.

Useful Fronts

  • imperial attempts to infect breeding grounds;
  • Sa’auei’a efforts to make the new continent refuse imperial biology;
  • Disconnected Tree Network envoys crossing into Sa’auei’a territory;
  • imperial citizens encountering living proof that the campaign lied.
