Xenophobic Memetic Campaign
The Xenophobic Memetic Campaign is the Airawa Empire’s response to discovering the Sa’auei’a.
Because the imperial center can shape belief across the imperial quarter of the Airawa Home Continent, it floods citizens with totalitarian xenophobic payloads:
- Sa’auei’a mobility is framed as disease;
- communal breeding grounds are framed as obscene;
- ecological reciprocity is framed as animal submission;
- Airawa dissenters are accused of Sa’auei’a infection;
- military violence is framed as continental immune response.
Political Use
The campaign also helps the empire suppress news of Disconnected Tree Networks. Any contradiction can be blamed on foreign memetic contamination.
It is a neat lie, which is the worst kind. It fits in the hand.
