Sa’auei’a
The Sa’auei’a are the dominant intelligent species of the Sa’auei’a Continent. Their civilization is nomadic, highly developed, and organized around squad-sized family units rather than permanent cities.
They are loosely comparable to wolves in social unit scale and movement logic, but that comparison is a handle, not a cage. They are not dogs with philosophy stapled on.
Social Pattern
Sa’auei’a families move across the continent making deals with remembered ecologies. Their units combine kinship, apprenticeship, defense, diplomacy, childcare, and mobile craft production.
They treat Breeding Grounds as sacred commons. These sites are not private property, dynastic capitals, or imperial nurseries. Infants, the infirm, caretakers, and rotating specialists remain there, while most adults circulate through the wider continent.
Ecological Politics
Sa’auei’a prestige comes from being remembered as generous by more-than-social partners: feeding sites, medicinal groves, migratory herds, reef analogues, pollinator corridors, and defensive organisms.
The strongest family units are not those that can seize territory. They are those that can arrive after years away and still be recognized as beneficial.
